With this module you can use Wi-Fi to control up to four stall-motor switch machine channels in many different ways
Please note that the switch machines shown are for guidance only. No switch machines are included with this product. You can purchase third-party made switch machines from your dealer.
This module provides Wi-Fi control of four stall-motor switch machines such as the popular Tortoise from Circuitron and others.
There are many ways to operate the turnouts controlled by the WFS-42.
The simplest is to connect a browser to the WFS-42 web pages and operate the turnouts by tapping buttons on the web page. You'll probably use this for initial checkout.
But to make best use of one or more WFS-42, you'll need a Wifitrax WFD-60 Wi-Fi and DCC Gateway. This device discovers and controls a set of
WFS-42 (or other Wifitrax WFS series) to provide centalized control. The WFD-60 provides a WiThrottle server so that you can use an app such as Engine Driver or WiThrottle or a device
like TCS UWT-100/50 to control turnouts. You'll likely use this method if you are using a WFD-60 to control large-scale locomotives.
The WFD-60 also provides a DCC input, so you can use an existing DCC Command Station/Booster to control your turnouts by simple connecting its Track DCC output to the WFD-60 DCC input
But that's not all. The WFD-60 also provides its own set of customizeable schematic panels so that you can build a schematic diagram of all or part of your layout and control
your turnouts by clicking or tapping on the turnout image in the panel.

or Full Manual
to see diagrams of typical usage.
The WFS-42 can operate stall-motor switch machines only. It does not have its own DCC input but relies on the WFD-60 to accept DCC for a collection of WFS-42 modules.
DIP Switches on the WFS-42 module allow a range of output voltages to be selected.
Length: 80mm (3.15") Width: 60mm (2.36") Maximum Height: 15mm (0.6")
Installs on your layout to provide direct Wi-Fi control of switch machines using Web Pages, DCC or WiThrottle App via a WFD-60 or WFD-60 Schematic Control Panels. Please read the Quick Start Document or Full Manual to see diagrams of typical usage.
